Dr. Zdan Shulakewych:

Dr. Zdan Shulakewych, a co-founder of Images Dental Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, has been instrumental in building a progressive practice, supported with leading edge equipment and services. To provide his patients with unmatched dental care, he has invested in digital radiography, air abrasion units, and offers sleep dentistry.
He received a Bachelor of Science (Biology) in 1993, a Bachelor of Arts (Sports Science) 1n 1994, and a Doctor of Dental Medicine (Manitoba) in 1998. Since beginning practicing in 1998 in both the north and south ends of Winnipeg, Dr. Shulakewych has maintained his commitment to lifelong learning by continually upgrading his skills and knowledge in advanced dental techniques. His desire to seek out higher quality dental training, has led him to courses around North America. His is a member of the World Congress of Minimally Invasive Dentistry. This academy stresses the preservation of tooth structure through conservative dental treatment. Aesthetic bonding, porcelain veneers, and implants are such treatment modalities. Dr. Shulakewych is also a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. His training allows him to fit patients with snoring/sleep apnea oral appliances. The scope of his practice ranges from cleanings and sealants for children to more complex restorative treatments.
Dr. Shulakewych is very active in the Winnipeg community. He is involved with the Manitoba Dental Association, Canadian Dental Association, Winnipeg Dental Society, and is a member of numerous Ukrainian organizations. They include PLAST, Ukrainian Professional Business Club. Dr. Shulakewych is a sports enthusiast. He loves playing beach/indoor volleyball, travelling, working out and spending time outdoors.
Dr. Brian Friesen:
Dr. Brian Friesen is known for his pursuit of excellence. It is evident in the awards he’s won and in his constant quest for additional training to improve his skills. He graduated with honors and is respected around the world as a teacher and locally as a dentist that’s entirely committed to both his patients and his team.
Dr. R. Paul:
I joined Images Dental Centre in April, 2007 along with my staff. I have practiced in St. Vital for over 30 years. In my spare time, I enjoy bridge, golfing and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Courtney Humphreys:
Dr. Courtney Humphreys graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology, followed by a Doctor of Dental Medicine. She is competent in all aspects of general dentistry, including preventative, restorative, prosthodontic, and endodontic procedures. Her goal is to work with her patients, young and old, and help them achieve their oral health goals. Her excellent communication skills and calming demeanor allows her patients to feel at ease when making dental decisions and when undergoing dental treatment. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, and staying fit with activities such as yoga, running, golfing and snowboarding.
